US election: President Donald Trump would be a ‘disaster’ for Australia, analysts warn

By Matthew Benns

The Daily Telegraph's article, title above, discusses the ways in which US Australia relations may change if faced with a Trump presidency. The article interviews many professors that study politics in Australia and international relations, which is where the below quote comes from. Because of Trump's views on military treaties and agreements, this article seems less than encouraging about the possible outcome for relations in an age of Trump.

"Mr Trump reflects few of the values that have made America great. And judging from his speeches, he fails to see the advantages that flow to his country from being at the centre of the global liberal order"

Australia doesn't seem like a fan of Trump, especially considering "a Trump victory would also undermine the ANZUS security alliance," possibly making life more dangerous in Australia due to an American decision.
